This is a hands-on, hybrid role for someone who enjoys both the creativity of the kitchen and the buzz of front-of-house service. You'll be part of a small, dynamic team where no two days are the same - supporting both the chef and manager with food prep, baked items, juices, and kitchen organisation, while also taking an active role on the cafe floor when needed.
You'll be a go-to person in the day-to-day, whether that's keeping the kitchen flowing, supporting service on the floor, handling stock, or stepping up when the Chef or Manager are off.
If you're someone who keeps things calm, takes the lead with confidence, and thrives on variety, this could be a great fit.

Follow and maintain high food hygiene standards and practices

Help with ordering, stock checks, and maintaining supplies
Assist with scheduling, staff coordination, and general oversight when management is away
Contribute creatively to social media content and ideas
Leadership & Supervision:
Open and close the cafe and lead day-to-day operations when required
Be a point of support for the wider team - keeping things flowing, jumping in where needed, and maintaining high standards
Step up to lead shifts when the Manager or Chef are off
Support with cash handling, supplier deliveries, and basic admin
Handle minor issues or customer concerns calmly and professionally
Lead by example and offer support or direction to the team when needed
