As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation while ensuring a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed to foster skill development. Plan and develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary. Maintain high standards of food presentation and taste, ensuring consistency across all dishes. Manage food production schedules to optimise efficiency during peak service times.

Skills

Proven supervisory experience within a kitchen environment. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills, fostering a collaborative work atmosphere. Proficient cooking skills with a passion for culinary arts. Extensive kitchen experience, including familiarity with various cooking methods and equipment. Strong hospitality ethos with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Effective leadership abilities to motivate and inspire kitchen staff. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to serve dishes with attention to detail and presentation.
