We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary, with experience in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. Your leadership skills will help foster a positive and efficient working environment, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation and cooking techniques. Develop new recipes and menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining cost efficiency. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Train new team members on kitchen procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary to maintain stock. Assist in the presentation of dishes to ensure they meet aesthetic standards.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
