Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with management on menu development and special events. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures. Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising and managing kitchen teams. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques with in an educational setting. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking. Experience in hospitality settings, preferably within restaurants or catering services. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Pay: 15.50-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
