Duties



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow Manage food production processes, maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and quality Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards Lead menu planning and development in collaboration with management Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste Train new team members in food preparation, safety protocols, and service standards Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times

Experience



Proven experience in a culinary role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices Strong background in food safety regulations and hygiene standards Experience in restaurant operations, including serving customers and managing kitchen workflows Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members Familiarity with food presentation and creative dish development is advantageous

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 16 per week
