Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food preparation meets quality standards.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Collaborate with the management team to develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good working order and report any issues promptly.
Experience
Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising kitchen staff.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is crucial.
Previous experience in team management within a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
