We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with the ability to lead and inspire a team in a very fast-paced sand which bar kitchen. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure optimal performance. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality. Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a culinary setting. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff. Proficient cooking skills with an understanding of various cuisines. Extensive kitchen experience, ideally within a restaurant environment. Culinary experience with knowledge of current food trends. Strong hospitality focus, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Effective leadership abilities to guide a diverse team towards common goals. Comprehensive understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Ability to serve dishes with attention to detail and presentation.
