Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Manage food inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional service delivery. Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation, and safety practices.

Skills

Proven experience in a culinary role with strong kitchen experience. Supervising experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent cooking skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration within the kitchen. A background in hospitality that enhances guest satisfaction through culinary excellence.
