Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Train new kitchen employees on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment usage. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and order as necessary to maintain stock. Ensure the presentation of dishes is consistent with restaurant standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a culinary role, with significant kitchen experience in a restaurant setting. Supervising experience is essential, demonstrating strong leadership skills. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of cuisines. Team management abilities, fostering a positive work environment for all staff members. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
