Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation processes. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Develop and implement creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to maintain stock. Conduct regular quality checks on food items before serving to ensure consistency and excellence. Assist in the development of new recipes and culinary techniques to enhance the menu offerings.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding a diverse team. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for food, creativity, and delivering outstanding customer service.
