We are seeking a confident and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating home cooked dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills. Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organisation within the kitchen. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards before serving.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure. A passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
