Duties



Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient team management and fostering a collaborative work environment Oversee all aspects of food production, from preparation to presentation, maintaining consistency and quality standards Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences Ensure all food safety regulations are strictly adhered to, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimise operational efficiency Train staff on food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and service standards Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety Assist in serving customers when required, providing excellent hospitality and ensuring customer satisfaction

Qualifications



Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a professional kitchen environment Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management Experience in restaurant or hospitality settings with a focus on quality service delivery Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Passion for innovation in cuisine and staying updated with industry trends Previous experience in food production, menu development, and restaurant operations is highly desirable
