Driving and previous chef experience preferred.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient team management and coordination
Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and quality across all offerings
Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and allergen control
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise kitchen resources
Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and professional growth
Ensure all food served meets the organisation's quality standards and presentation expectations
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with health regulations
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Demonstrated ability to develop menus, manage inventory, and control costs
Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction
