Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operational flow
Manage food production processes, including portion control and quality assurance
Oversee food safety compliance, maintaining hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of meals and customer satisfaction
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste
Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times
Skills
Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
Excellent culinary skills with an eye for presentation and detail
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Experience in restaurant operations, including serving procedures and customer service excellence
Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 12.50-15.00 per hour
