Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team who would ideally have experience in Eastern European cuisine as well as British . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with a flair for creativity and innovation in the kitchen. This role requires willingness to learn new dishes from mainly the Baltic countries and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your culinary expertise will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

We offer very flexible shifts with only occasional weekend work needed.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient food production. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Manage food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service. Foster a positive team environment, encouraging collaboration and communication among staff. Monitor food quality throughout preparation and cooking processes.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of Eastern European food preparation techniques. Demonstrated supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Previous experience in food production and serving is highly desirable. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dishes that delight guests.
