Responsibilities

Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain kitchen efficiency. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Develop new menu items and specials based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback. Monitor portion control and waste management to optimise food costs.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the culinary industry. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts, creativity in menu development, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
