Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary. Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality control throughout service. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and creativity.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu planning and food presentation. Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate kitchen staff. Previous experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous but not essential.
