Key Responsibilities
Supervise all aspects of food preparation and production within the kitchen.
Collaborate with the manager/owner to design menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and reflect current culinary trends.
Ensure every dish meets the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen in full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and assist in ordering supplies as required.
Work closely with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service and outstanding guest experiences.
Implement cost-control measures to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef in a pubs, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
Strong culinary expertise with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
Effective leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices.
Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Creativity in menu development and dish presentation is highly valued.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
