Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and kitchen management. This role requires a commitment to food safety standards and a flair for culinary creativity, ensuring that every dish served meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Duties



Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest quality. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and performance. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Develop new recipes and menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain consistency across all dishes. Assist in training new staff members on kitchen procedures and best practices.

Skills



Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts. Excellent leadership qualities, fostering a positive work environment. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members. A creative approach to menu development, showcasing culinary innovation. Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
