As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating delightful culinary experiences for our guests while supervising kitchen staff and managing daily operations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production and service.
Manage food preparation processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
Collaborate with the hospitality team to develop seasonal menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
Ensure the kitchen is well-organised, clean, and equipped with necessary tools and ingredients.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing team dynamics effectively.
Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
