Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and presentation.
Develop and implement creative menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively.
Train and mentor junior staff to develop their culinary skills and promote teamwork.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
Monitor kitchen operations to optimise productivity while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
Qualifications
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and menu development.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management.
Previous experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
