Since 2003, Absolute Taste has been delivering high-quality catering and hospitality experiences across a range of industries, including restaurants, cafes, aviation, and luxury events.


At The Eatery, we're proud to serve freshly prepared, seasonal dishes in a warm and welcoming environment. We're now looking for a Chef to join our friendly kitchen team on a casual contract, offering flexibility while covering around 40 hours per week across 5 days.

The Role: Overview

Joining The Eatery as a Chef, you'll be part of a passionate and creative kitchen team based in our vibrant Fenwick location. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied schedule, thrives in a busy kitchen, and takes pride in preparing high-quality, freshly made food.

What You Will Be Doing

Work closely with the Head Chef to deliver consistently high-quality dishes in line with The Eatery's standards and style Prepare, cook, and present dishes to specification and in a timely manner Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food presentation throughout service Follow all food safety, allergen, and health & safety guidelines, including COSHH and HACCP requirements Manage stock effectively, assist with ordering, and minimise waste wherever possible Uphold Absolute Taste's values of quality, teamwork, and excellence in every aspect of your work

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience working as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong cooking skills and a genuine passion for fresh, quality food A team player with great communication skills and a flexible approach to working hours Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency during busy services Sound knowledge of food hygiene, safety procedures, and allergen management Reliability, professionalism, and a positive, proactive attitude
