Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Develop new menu items and contribute to menu planning based on seasonal ingredients. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety practices, and kitchen procedures.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Previous experience in restaurant settings is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
