We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and kitchen management, with the ability to lead a team in creating exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a high level of hospitality in our establishment.
Duties
Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations to ensure efficient food production.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and current trends.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive working environment that encourages teamwork.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
Maintain high standards of quality control for all food served, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Engage with guests when necessary to enhance their dining experience and address any concerns.
Serve food to customers
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for hospitality and customer service.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in menu planning and development is an advantage.
