Duties
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, including training, mentoring, and managing team members to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation of all menu items.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain stock control to minimise waste.
Enforce strict hygiene and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Collaborate with management on menu development, special events, and promotional activities.
Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to optimise workflow and efficiency.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a pub environment.
Extensive food production skills with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Excellent team management abilities with leadership qualities that motivate staff.
Deep understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards.
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience demonstrating versatility across various cuisines.
