Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, with a flair for creativity in food preparation and presentation. This role requires excellent leadership skills to supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality are maintained. The Chef will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect our commitment to hospitality.

Responsibilities



Oversee all aspects of food production and kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and quality. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive team environment. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes while also innovating new menu items. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus that highlight fresh ingredients. Train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Assist in the presentation of dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant's standards for aesthetics.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Comprehensive knowledge of food production techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and management. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service through culinary excellence. Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.70-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
