Overview: We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your culinary expertise and passion for food will contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage a team of kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow - Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills and maintaining a positive work environment - Oversee food production, ensuring high quality and consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and customer preferences - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen - Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and dining area - Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and company policies - Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to meet budgetary requirements - Stay updated with industry trends and new culinary techniques to continuously improve menu offerings Skills: - Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a busy restaurant setting - Strong supervisory and team management skills - Exceptional leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire others - In-depth knowledge of food production techniques and culinary principles - Proficient in food preparation, cooking methods, and plating techniques - Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and best practices - Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment - Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service - Willingness to help others and contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere If you are a talented Chef looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic restaurant environment, we would love to hear from you. Job Type: Temporary

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
