Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and presentation Develop and refine menus in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative culinary techniques Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to foster professional growth and teamwork Ensure timely delivery of dishes during service hours while maintaining quality standards Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless customer service experiences

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a busy kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective team management skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and management Previous experience in food production, restaurant operations, or hospitality is highly desirable A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
