Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Manage food preparation processes, including sourcing fresh ingredients and maintaining inventory levels. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment. Create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance needs to ensure smooth operations.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques with a strong understanding of culinary arts. Excellent team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse group of individuals. Strong supervisory skills to oversee kitchen staff effectively while maintaining high morale. A background in hospitality or restaurant management is advantageous. Comprehensive knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. A passion for cooking and helping others develop their culinary skills within the team.
