Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members
Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimise waste
Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed at all times
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent service and customer experience
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas
Monitor food presentation to ensure visual appeal aligns with brand standards
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Experience in food production, culinary arts, and restaurant operations
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of serving procedures and customer service excellence
