We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to take up the role as a Chef Manager in a small primary school in Ascot, serving approx 150 -180 school meals each day.
The role is to be responsible for the preparation, presentation, and service of food to a high standard, whilst maintaining excellent customer service. Alongside overall responsibility for the management of H & S, Food Safety, Finance Reporting and Staff Management.
Key Tasks:
To have excellent cooking skills.
To have good knowledge and experience preparing a high-volume of food.
To be able to provide staff training with general kitchen duties.
To be able to manage a team to be successful in the running of the kitchen
To provide excellent customer service to the pupils and school staff dining with us.
To manage / assist in setting up dining room furniture, including tables and chairs.
Other General kitchen duties, including cleaning, washing up and food service.
Confident using a computer, including emails, completion of company documentation, finance reporting and online food ordering.
Be reponsible for health & safety, food safety, allergies and finance performance of the kitchen.
Preferably you will have previous experience in a similar role in a similar environment, however if you are keen to learn this fulfilling role full training will be provided.

Term Time Only - 25 hrs (9.00 am - 2.00 pm) - 38 working weeks
