Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output. Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to optimise kitchen efficiency. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Train new kitchen team members on cooking techniques, safety practices, and restaurant policies. Monitor food quality during preparation and service to ensure consistency and excellence.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and culinary trends. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising or managing a team. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
