Chef Required - I Boss Lounge, Coventry

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team at I Boss Lounge, one of the UK's largest and most vibrant lounges offering live entertainment and exceptional dining experiences.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience. Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, Middle Eastern dishes, and fast food. Ability to prepare starters, mains, and party menus efficiently. Must be professional, clean, and highly organised with excellent hygiene standards. Able to work under pressure and handle busy service times. Willing to work extra hours when required. Flexible, reliable, and a great team player.

Location: I Boss Lounge, 1-3 Rowleys Green Lane, Coventry, CV6 6AN

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure optimal performance. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Implement and uphold food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Develop new menu items and specials, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.

Skills

Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervision. In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
