Overview


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead culinary operations in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, managing food production, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Chef will play a vital role in menu planning, team management, and maintaining efficient kitchen workflows to delight our guests and uphold our reputation for fine dining excellence.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and catering teams to ensure smooth daily operations Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high-quality standards Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction Develop and update menus in collaboration with the culinary team, incorporating seasonal ingredients and dietary considerations Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen Coordinate catering events and special functions, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes Train staff on food handling, safety procedures, and culinary techniques Monitor shift management to optimize productivity and guest satisfaction Collaborate with restaurant management on operational improvements and customer service initiatives

Experience



Proven experience in fine dining establishments or similar upscale hospitality settings Demonstrated banquet experience and supervising experience in a high-volume environment Strong background in food production, menu planning, and culinary arts Leadership skills with experience managing kitchen teams and overseeing food service operations Familiarity with inventory management systems and food safety protocols Experience in catering, restaurant management, or hospitality industry preferred Knowledge of dietary requirements, food handling regulations, and kitchen management best practices Previous roles involving food service management, culinary expertise, or restaurant experience are highly desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
