We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to optimise team performance
Monitor food production processes to maintain consistency, quality, and freshness
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste
Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed and maintained at all times
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Assist in menu planning and development to reflect current trends and customer preferences
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment
Experience
Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience is highly desirable, with demonstrated team management skills
Extensive background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food hygiene standards
Experience in food service serving roles is advantageous but not essential
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service excellence is preferred
