Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist in the organisation and setup of the kitchen before service Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and hygiene standards Support the training of new kitchen staff as required

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant setting Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Experience with meal preparation and kitchen organisation Excellent understanding of culinary techniques and presentation skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Serving experience is advantageous but not essential
