to join the kitchen team at
The Parlour Restaurant

Weybridge Garden Centre

About the Role
As a
Chef de Partie
, you'll be responsible for running a section of the kitchen and ensuring all dishes are prepared to a high standard. You'll play a key role in daily food preparation, service, and supporting junior staff while working under the guidance of the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone organised, consistent, and ready to grow in a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items across breakfast, lunch, and specials
Take ownership of your section and manage it efficiently during service
Ensure all food is prepared to agreed specifications, quality, and presentation
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure correct storage and rotation
Support menu development by contributing ideas for specials and seasonal dishes
Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen team members
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures consistently
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef looking to progress
A passion for fresh food and a keen eye for presentation
Ability to stay calm under pressure and work effectively as part of a team
Good knowledge of food hygiene practices and kitchen safety standards
Dependable, punctual, and well-organised
