Job Description
We are looking for a Chef to join us at "ELEVEN" in Amersham
If you are currently working in a kitchen, and would like to join a smaller team, learn from our Head Chef and progress with your career, we are keen to meet you.
We are a small venue with 40 covers, serving 7 days a week Breakfasts, Lunch & everything in-between.

Responsibilities
include -Running your own service 1 or 2 days a week (once trained) Helping our chef during service Helping in the KP section Deep cleaning of Kitchen Taking stock weekly Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
If you have experience with cooking in a Bistro type of environment cooking varied foods from different countries, we'd like to meet you. OR if you are keen to learn a new skill in this type of cuisine, we would really like to meet you and have a chat.
Requirements and skills
We want someone who is a team player, and wants to prepare fresh food that they are proud to say came out of our kitchen. We want someone who wants to work in a kitchen and progress with this as a career choice.
Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and pasta makers) Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks Excellent time management abilities Familiarity with sanitation regulations
