Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation before serving Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure efficient service

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary principles Previous experience in serving or working in a hospitality setting is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
