Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in the organisation and setup of the kitchen before service Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer demands Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts Follow food safety and hygiene regulations diligently Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests when required Monitor ingredient stock levels and notify management of shortages or expiry issues

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a kitchen assistant within a restaurant setting Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Prior experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous but not essential A positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and willingness to learn new skills
