Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager. Help in the training of new kitchen staff as required. Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working order.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
