Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities



Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Cook a variety of menu items with consistency and attention to detail Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times Assist in meal preparation during busy service periods, supporting the kitchen team as needed Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Follow portion control guidelines to minimise waste and optimise efficiency Support the delivery of excellent customer service by ensuring timely food delivery and presentation Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations during each shift

Skills



Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering setting Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Good organisational skills with an eye for detail in meal presentation Excellent teamwork and communication skills Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during busy service hours Previous experience serving or working directly with customers is advantageous but not essential
