We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager. Maintain a clean and organised workstation throughout your shift. Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as required. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques and methods. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: 25,000.00-38,506.44 per year
