Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations and a keen interest in food preparation. As one of our chefs you will play a vital role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the meal preparation process, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service. Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure customer satisfaction. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and creativity in food presentation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
