We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Skills
Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
