Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items following specified recipes and presentation standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during service hours Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor food quality and presentation throughout the shift Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety guidelines Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to support continuous service Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures

Experience

Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices Experience in meal preparation and working with diverse cuisines is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods Serving experience is beneficial but not essential; a positive attitude towards customer service is important
