We are a burger restaurant based in the arches under Moore street station in of Digbeth, We have been here for 10 years, we also have a kitchen in the British Oak Stirchley and Stourbridge social, along side our sister project Corner Shop, making detroit style pizza based in the Jewellery Quarter, our focus is creating the best quality fun food we can, sourcing direct from farm and taking pride in what we do !

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and creative chef to support the kitchen team . Your role will cover all kitchen operations, from food preparation and service to stock control and menu development. The ideal candidate is a passionate chef and a positive team player, committed to serving the best burgers in Birmingham.

The role requires 20-40 hours each week, spread over 2-4 day.

Restaurant opening hours;

Wednesday: 5:00-10.00pm / Thursday: 12:10-10.30pm / Friday: 12-10pm / Saturday: 12-10pm / Sunday: 12-7pm

Duties:

Develop exciting new menu items and specials to keep our offerings fresh and appealing. Food preparation and cooking activities to ensure consistency and quality. Maintain portion sizes, presentation, and taste consistency for all dishes. Manage stock levels. Ensure a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment. Uphold health and safety regulations in all kitchen operations.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in a Kitchen environment or in a similar role within the restaurant or catering industry. High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
