Duties
Prepare, cook, and present consistently high-quality dishes within your section
Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to develop seasonal menus
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organisation at all times
Support and mentor junior chefs, fostering a culture of learning and excellence
Contribute creative ideas to enhance guest satisfaction and dining innovation
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, and grills
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards
Support in plating dishes attractively for presentation purposes
Experience
Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience in meal preparation and working under pressure during peak hours is advantageous
Serving or front-of-house experience is a plus, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
