Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards Cook a variety of menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts Assist with meal preparation during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders Follow portion control guidelines and minimise waste during food preparation Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt to special dietary requirements when needed Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment Previous experience in meal preparation, culinary techniques, or serving is desirable but not essential A genuine passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail are highly valued qualities
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: 16.80 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
