We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have passion and a commitment to providing high-quality meal preparation in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering delicious dishes that meet our guests' expectations.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are adhered to at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Participate in menu development by providing input on seasonal dishes and specials.
Requirements
Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar culinary environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
